Chi-Mei Natural History Museum is a comprehensive collection of natural sciences and ethnographic artifacts, the purpose being to motivate a new force in cultural exploration. The collection is divided into the regions of the earth: North and South America; North Africa; North and South Pole; Asia and Eurasia. There are also three major categories represented: Rare Mammals of Taiwan; North American and North African Wild Mammals; Rare Bird Group of Taiwan and North America Wild Birds. The Museum also has an impressive collection of fossils representing ancient animals of every period, and a collection of rare meteorites.
